On November 14, 2017, the MES, together with the French Embassy in Ukraine and the French Cultural Center, arrange an evening of short films about Antarctica. The audience will be shown three popular science films devoted to the study of the icy continent by Ukraine and France.
After viewing the audience, they will be able to chat with the scientists of the Antarctic expeditions from both countries, the authors of the films, and to join the discussion “Expanding the Franco-Ukrainian scientific horizons in Antarctica”.

Participation in the event will be, in particular, by Dmytro Cheberkus, a representative of the Government of Ukraine at the Secretariat of the Antarctic Treaty, Yves Frano, director of the French polar institute Paul-Emil Victor, Ivan Parnikoza, Ukrainian biologist, member of the Antarctic expeditions.
