The main tasks of the department are:
planning and organization of financial and economic activities of the National Antarctic Scientific Center;
compilation of current and prospective income and expenditure estimates based on budget funding and special funds;
development of projects passport of the budget program and reports on its implementation, preparation of proposals within the scope of competence for the Budget Declaration for the medium-term period;
accounting of the financial and economic activities of the National Antarctic Scientific Center and reporting;
ensuring the financial and economic basis of events and services provided by the institution, namely: scientific and practical conferences, meetings etc.;
control over the availability and movement of property, the use of financial and material (non-material) resources in accordance with approved standards;
timely submission of reports etc.
