Dzhulai Artem was born in October 13, 1987. He graduated from Sevastopol National Technical University (Sevastopol, Ukraine) in 2009 and got Master degree in biophysics.

He took a PhD course in hydrobiology at the Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas at the Ecological Physiology of Algae Department (Sevastopol, Ukraine) from 2009 to 2013.

He took participation at 6 scientific cruises in the Black Sea from 2010 to 2013. He worked as a biologist at the Ukrainian Antarctic Station “Akademik Vernadsky” in 2014-2015 and in 2017-2018. Since 2018 he has started to work as a scientific worker at the State Institution National Antarctic Scientific Center in the Biological Department.
